I’ve spent hours scouring the net for eco friendly and ethically made clothing and accessories for baby. So I was thrilled when Chief designer, Luisa from My Little Love Heart contacted me about her products.
Upon checking out her range, I was indeed impressed with seasonal colours and eco friendly materials used. The items are made from organic cotton and bamboo that is soft to touch and gentle on my baby’s skin despite repeated washing.
Having an infant with reflux has been so demanding especially when someone so little creates mountains of washing! I’ll be honest, it’s been one of the most difficult times of my life. After having finally dressed into a decent outfit and my hair done, little miss decides to posit as I nurse her over my shoulder. This of course means a quick shower, change of clothes for both baby and me and a dramatic set back in schedule for the day. Which is problematic when you have school pickups in fifteen minutes! Using the bibs and burp cloths saves a tonne of washing as we aren’t changing outfits ten times a day now, only bibs!
From an economic, environmental and sanity standpoint, the bibs and burp cloths are a life saver! Mentally I’m able to quickly throw the used ones in the wash and pull out a fresh set. I would honestly get both the bib and burp cloth in every design. They complement each other. I mean you could just get the bibs but that does leave your shoulder exposed and if you’re like me you want to keep that outfit on considering it took you long enough to get it on while looking after an infant.
My favourite design (featured) is the Blossoms in Peach.
Whilst you’re checking out the range of bibs make sure you peruse through the matching accessories too! Have a look at their super cute Instagram page @Mylittleloveheart give them a follow for the newest designs and any updates on pop up shops!
